What We Are All About

We Lead With Our Hearts In The Art of Chess.

 

Swan Valley Chess (SVCC) is an initiative by founder and club President Dylan Gough - a qualified teacher (BA Ed Studies), Chess Arbiter, Chess Coach and current local tournament player. You are invited to our regular Monday night chess club for all kids and adults of all abilities. Enjoy plenty of Chess games, learning and fun, also be inspired and supported - chess is great for mental health and the Neurodiverse. SVC is a family oriented social club and all ages are welcome.  

 

Monday club meets will be structured with Juniors from 6pm - 7pm, Adults from 7pm - 9.30pm. We have tournaments, a range of coaching options, Chess games, hints, advice, chess history, guest speakers and plenty of social fun in an upbeat, friendly, positive atmosphere. If you have any questions about the new Swan Valley Club or coming along, even if you don't know much about chess, or even if you are advanced in chess, we are here to help!
