Our first classical tournament of the year used to practice for the perpetual classic tournament later in the month. This is a grouped event with the top teams being a 6 person Round Robin event and the bottom group will play a 6 round Swiss

About the Event
This is a combined Round Robin/Swiss event. Dependent on number of people, the top group(s) will be playing a 5 round Round Robin event, competing against others of similar rating. These groups will have the opportunity of a catch up week on February 23rd if they are unable to make a game.
The lowest rated group will play in a 6 round Swiss format tournament in all play all group. There will be no opportunity for a catch up game in this tournament with any missed game resulting in a forfeit from the unavailable player.
